2 Nights, 2 Big Games.....2 BIG WINS!
That's right! The Squirt Girls were down some players but pulled off two big wins this week!
18JUL2012 the Squirt Girls travelled to Drayton for a make-up game. Down 4 girls the odds were stacked against them. They took the field with only 8 and boy, did they play great baseball! Each and every girl stepped up and played their best to pull off a 9-2 victory! Morale was high and kept high throughout the game! Communication was key the these girls really pulled out all the stops! We're very proud of each of these fantastic girls!
19JUL2012 Chepstow came to Listowel. Again the girls were down players but were able to be helped out by two excellent ball players. Both Jenna McLeod & Hailie Fischer stepped up the challenge and played great games! A big thank-you to both Jenna and Hailie for coming out to play ball tonight, you both did an excellent job! The girls kept the momentum from Drayton and pulled off another amazing 14-0 win! Shelby was throwin smoke and Victoria cleaned up on the mound! Great offense and defense by all! Great job again girls! Another amazing effort!
