Tier 1 Loses Exhibition
A disappointing lose for the Tier 1 Rookie team after a long travel to Thorndale on Tuesday night. Both teams played exceptionally both offensively and defensively with the lead bouncing back and forth for the first 3 innings.
Thorndale came into the 4th bound and determined to take the lead with a 6 run inning and another 4 run inning in the top of the 5th. Although Listowel managed to get an additional run in the top of the 6th it wasn't quite enough. Listowel managed to shut Thorndale down in the 6th with a quick 1-2-3 inning to minimize damage. Leaving the score 19-12 in favour of Thorndale.
