Success at LMBA Day!
A great success today at LMBA Day! Tier 1 Rookie faced St. Mary's Grey Team at 1:30pm this afternoon. With some terrific defence, Listowel held St. Mary's to 2 runs after 4 innings of play. With the Listowel offence heating up as well over the last 2 games, they were able to drive in 28 runs over 4 innings, leaving the final score 28-2.
The game was followed but a BBQ lunch for both teams, raffle prices, 50/50 draw, and some skills events. Tier 1 Rookie also ran successful fundraiser to help out the team with an upcoming Tournament in Dorchester.
