With the support of the community, your 11U Legionnaires were crowded provincial champions last night with a 12-9 extra inning win over Kincardine.
Listowel's journey consisted of a tough walk off loss to Woodslee on Friday afternoon, 6-5. They then rebounded with four straight wins and a bye to advance to the finals. These victories included wins over Dresden (11-1), Lakeshore (12-8), Pelham (15-0), and Caledonia (8-3) in the semis. The finals saw Listowel defeat Kincardine 12-9, in extra innings, and in front of an enormously supportive hometown crowd.
Team Members include; Tyse Hayter, Rory Magee, Koen Martin, Zack Brooks, Patrick Magee, Oliver Morwood, Tucker Frook, Marshall Walls, Deklyn Cressman, Jack Magee, Carter Williams, Patrick Heenan. Coaches included Nathan Morwood, Rob Martin, Austin McCourt, Brendan Magee, and Kyle Hollinger.
