LMBA ties modern day OBA record for title wins
Not only did Listowel set a personal best for its five Ontario Baseball Association (OBA) championships at the conclusion of the 2017 season, but it will also find itself in the provincial record books for the feat going forward.

Listowel tied the modern day record for most titles and finals appearances with its five championships and one finalist. The rookie, mosquito, bantam, midget and senior Legionnaires all claimed victory at provincials, while the peewee squad fell just short in their final to finish as runner-up.

Mississauga North is the only other baseball organization to match Listowel’s success of six finalists in recent years, producing five championships and one runner-up in 2012. London Tecumseh (2016) and Ajax (2004) were also five-time champions.
