SQUIRT GIRLS - ON A ROLL!
Tonight proved that the Squirt Girls mean business, when they brought out the bats and ran the bases strong as they really began to improved their offensive game, winning against Fullarton 13-6!
After a few trips to the batting cages, the girls have began to swing more and take control at bat! Rachel Williams, Sommer Bender, and Carly Gerber all hit a double! All girls started to really show how aggresive they can be as they run the bases! Even stealing home!
Carly and Briana Donaldson both pitched well, Jessica Bannerman (catcher) and Mallory Kuepfer (3rd) had a sweet tag out on 3rd base! Way to play! We did seem to get a little turned around in the 3rd inning allowing 5 runs in, but hopefully we now learn how important it is to be more on our toes, so that we know where the plays have to be made BEFORE the ball is hit! That is our next goal for improvement! To be more alert!
Runs this evening were brought in by Sommer, Erica Hemmingway, Ashley Bannerman, Briana(2), Mallory(2), Rachel(3), Carly(2), and Reghanne Howes! Way to be on Girls!
