Rookie Red, 2010 Season (Listowel Minor Baseball)

Hello players.  I just want to send a quick note to each of the rookie reds wishing them the best of luck and fun in the upcoming tournament.  All of you should know that the coaching staff are very proud of the effort and accomplishent set forth this season.  Remember what coach Tammy said to you on Monday night "bring to the tournament your focus, enthusiasm, and great spirit."  Put your best foot forward each and every game and you will have accomplished every goal set out for this young team this summer. Nick Pateneaude: put the ball in the back of the Ford pick up. Abbey Morrell, Kenzie Cameron: great catches on first base. Carter Coates: good consistent hitting. Sara Reading: great spunk and perserverence. Austin Carter: great double play. Drew Wilken: strong bats. Cody Bray: good movement on the field. Jordyn Snell: great knock down in left field. Masyn Snell: terrific throw from centre field to end the inning.

Just wanted to congratulate the Rookie Reds on another well played ball game.  We are so proud of you players for using the strategies we learned at practice in the game on Thursday night in Exeter.  The bats came alive quickly and again plays were being done on the field.  Keep up the great work! The coaching staff of the Listowel Rookie Reds are proud of all of their players.  Tonight's game showed just how well the players are listening to the coaches.  There were some fabulous bats and great plays made on the field.  Keep up the tremendous effort you are all exhibiting.  Every game we are seeing improvement.  Keep up the great work Rookie Red. Although the Rookie Reds have been falling just short in the score book, we want you all to know that we are proud of everyone of you.  You are starting to use the advice and input that the coaches are giving you and really starting to show some strength at the bat.  We, as coaches, continue to encourage you to have fun and put your best on the field.  That is all we can ask.  Bring your spirit, heart, enthusiasm, and attention out to every game.  We are a very young team but show potential for really good baseball.  Again, show your coaches you are "In the Game" and let's play some great ...
