Rookie Black, 2011 Season (Listowel Minor Baseball)

the Listowel Minor Baseball banquet is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 23rd, 6:30 - 12:00pm at Parkview Gardens.  The fee is $10.00/family or $5.00 each.  Hope to see everyone there!

Thanks to all of the parent volunteer coaches that put in so many hours and committed their personal time to help our kids grow.  Can't say enough as we know how busy all of our lives are.   Thank you for this.  To our team on behalf of our coaches, it was a privilage to coach each and everyone of you as we appreciated your dedication and committment to the game of baseball.  We look forward to seeing you next season. Please bring an extra change of clothes for your player on Sat. and hand-in your uniform before leaving (I will look after the washing). Also, if you are interested in practicing tonight your player can practice with the green team at 6:30pm at the Optimist Diamond.  They do not have a full team either and have invited our players to practice with them. unfortunately we came up a little short but great way to play our last season game with removing the t-stand and prove to ourselves that everyone can hit without it!!  Thursday night's practice has been cancelled....so we'll see everyone bright and early Saturday morning 7:30ISH. The Coaches

Hello team, here is an update for the tournament on Saturday. The game times are as follows: 8:00am - Mitchell vs. Black 11:00am - Black vs. Exeter Red 3:30pm - Listowel Red vs. Black Also, there is a fee of $25.00/player for Sat. to cover the costs of diamonds and umps as well as each player will receive a medal, hot dog and a drink. Please bring the money in advance to our game Tues. night or Thurs. night practice. Thanks and see you Tuesday!
