Rookie Green, 2011 Season (Listowel Minor Baseball)

Wow with the season over and only the tournament left I wonder where the summer went.  We all did great last night in Exeter, Chris with his over the fence home run, Chet with his 2 great catches and double play and Shannon for her awesome hits and great job playing third.  We all did a fantastic job and I would love to name everyone and there great accomplishments  but that would take all night.  Two practices left before the tourney to fine tune our great skills and then off to play 3 new teams.  I am so proud of everyone and the effort they put into each throw of the ball to swing of the ...

as we are growing closer and closer to the end of the season I can't help but look back at the kids I started out with and the ball players I have now.  Everyone is doing so well and I am starting to think that they do hear what I am trying to tell them even if they are playing in the dust or picking grass.  I am so very proud our Conner tonight he got past his fear of the pitching machine and had a great hit, way to go buddy we all knew you could do it.  All the kids did so well tonight without the tee I am so proud to say "I am their coach" with each game and practice everyone is learning ...

Way to go everyone tonights game makes 3 wins in a row. Everyone played a great game there are still things to work on but over all we are doing good.  Lets make it 4 in a row Thursday night in Mitchell.

Thanks to everyone who came out tonight, a big thanks to Koda Coombs and Ashley Dietrich for helping out. I am very proud of everyone for playing tonight without the tee we all had good hits. Our base running is getting very good unless you listen to me a big sorry to Noelle for getting her out.  Other then that, things are going good we are 4-4 and improving as we go.  See everyone next Monday for practice at Memorial.

Well our season is getting into full swing and we are looking good. Thanks Koda for yet again helping us out, and on a sad note Austin Morrell is out for a little while we all hope you have a speedy recovery and are back on the diamond fast.
