Play of the Week - Melissa "Dunnie" Dunphy hits a home run in Game 2 of the Mitchell Tournament (well maybe there was an overthrow on the play) but according to Dunnie and the smile on her face, it was a Home Run!!! Highlight of the Week - making it to the playoff round in the Mitchell Tournament
Wow, what a great week of baseball ladies and the only thing that would have added to the week was playing in the Championship Game in Mitchell on Sunday. But alas, it just wasn't written in the cards for us. It would have been fun to have had a celebration party after the tournament but lady luck wasn't on our side.
What has been so impressive to watch is how you are gelling as a team. You support each other when your teammate makes a great play or hit, but more importantly, you support each other when your teammate is struggling. And nothing is more important than that when you are playing a team sport!
