Peewee ICBA/OBA, Baseball, 2019 (Listowel Minor Baseball)

After the weekend washout and a tough loss to a surging Guelph Royals, the Legionnaires take the field again tonight as they kick off the 4th round of games, this time against the Mitchell Astros. Game time is 6 PM at Optimist, Stratford. Coombs gets the ball for the Legionnaires.

We have just been advised that today's games will start 1 hour late.  We're working in getting an updated tournament schedule and will send it out if/when we get one.

The ICBA tournament has suffered yet another delay.  This means Listowel's next game is now Sunday at 11:30.

The 2nd round of ICBA games won't be starting until approx 2:30. Here are the match up for Round 2 Game #6  SERC Baseball Stratford vs Woodstock  Game #7  SERC Softball Brantford vs Kitchener 2 Game #8  Dufferin Guelph vs Mitchell Game #9  Optimist  Kitchener 1 vs Cambridge Listowel and Waterloo get the byes. As more information becomes available, I will update everyone.

The Legionnaires shook off some early inning rust to come from behind and beat the Stratford Nationals 17-7 in the first game of the ICBA championship tournament.  With the win, the boy have earned the bye into the 3rd round where barring any upsets in the other match up, they will face either 2nd seed Mitchell Astros or the 3rd seeded Cambridge Cubs.   Game is scheduled for 3:30 PM at SERC (Baseball) Tate Vader gets the ball for the Legionnaires.
