Rookie Tier 2, Rookieball, 2019 (Listowel Minor Baseball)

What an exciting first game of the year for our 2019 Tier 2 team! We traveled to Clinton to face the Mustangs. Down 5 after 2 our kids battled back and put up 7 runs in the top of 3. After that it was a tight back and forth game with the end result being a 10-10 tie. Good work to the boys and we will see you at what we hope will be our new home opener (if the weather will cooperate) in our Tuesday night match up with the Walkerton Capitals.

Due to weather and poor diamond conditions, tonight’s home game is canceled. The Tier 2 will have to wait to make to play in their home opener till Tuesday June 4th when we host the Walkerton Capitals. Let’s hope the rain stops and we are still able to play Thursday night we travel to Clinton as we take on the Mustangs.

The evaluators would like to thank all players who came out to the Tier 2 try-outs this week. We wish everyone good luck and a fun summer at the ball park. The following players have been selected for the Rookie Tier 2 roster... Albrecht, Cody Cressman, Deklyn Hershey, Oliver Hurst, Warner Kaye, Simon Kraal, Sam Magee, Jack Podhorny, Hudson Small, Boston Smith, Ethan Thompson, Alec Van Allen, Wade Williams, Carter  Our first practice will be Monday, May 20 from 3:00p.m.- 5:00 p.m. at the Optimist diamond.
