The journey began Friday evening with a strong 8–3 win over Zurich – Red, setting a positive tone for the tournament. Saturday brought a tough challenge in Game 2, as the team fell 12–4 to the Arthur Twisters – White, one of the tournament’s top contenders. Refusing to be deterred, Listowel bounced back in dramatic fashion in their final round-robin matchup, edging the Howick Hawks – Green 13–12 in a thrilling contest that secured their spot in the Sunday finals.
The championship game saw Listowel face the undefeated, top-seeded Arthur Twisters – White once again. This time, the outcome was different. Playing with focus and determination, Listowel shut down the Twisters’ offense and delivered timely hits, earning an impressive 6–1 victory to capture the Consolation II title.
