Peewee 1 Strikes Gold at WOBA Championships
Congratulations
to Peewee #1 on winning gold at this year’s WOBA "Ron Pegg" Championship Tournament!
The team played exceptionally well on both
defense and offense. Listowel's superb
pitching, stifling defense, and timely hitting proved too much for our
opponents as Listowel went 5-0 en route to winning the tournament and outscoring
our opponents 46-15 along the way.
The tournament win was the perfect ending to a great season where the team finished with the division’s second-best record at 12-2. This team was an amazing group of kids that loved playing ball and had fun doing it.
It was a blast coaching these kids and seeing their growth and improvement this season.
