Rookie Green, 2010 Season (Listowel Minor Baseball)

Well our bats came alive in Exeter scoring 18 runs and then got a shut out the following week! Great defence. We got our 2nd double play of the year with Seth J making a great catch and throwing to Lucy who is always ready. Eilish made a strong out at first and Carter threw out a runner at 2nd from center field with Brayden making a great catch. Great work! We only got 3 inning in but Zyan and Abby both had clutch 10th batter hits. Cassidy, Abigail and Nealie had solid hits, we are really starting to click! Keep up the good work! 

Back to back games but we made it through. Although we haven't won we are making progress! Great grand slam Matsun! Good marks in the field to Brayden, Lucy, Carter and Zyan, being ready and covering, always thinking about the play! Durango and Eilish were solid behind the plate. Good team spirit on the bench, keep it up!

Good game tonight. Congratulations on our first double play of the year, good catch Seth J and then throw to Claire for the 2nd out. Zyan was ready to back up the play. Very impressive. Seth H was solid behind the plate. Eilish was ready at short as was Cassidy at third, that is what the coach likes to see.  Abigail had a strong single and was ready on second as needed. I heard some great team spirit and saw everyone trying to listen and stay on the bench. Thanks again to all the parents!  See you Monday.

The first day of summer is here and we are back to 2 games this week. Green team was a little off tonight, myself included, but I want to thank everyone for listening to the coaches and parents. We will keep working on the team aspect of the game, next is working together to get a ball in from the outfield; catch and throw.

Another great game for Green Team! Thanks to all the parents that helped out. Zyan recorded a solid single so now all of our player have gotten a hit! Good work.  Seth J hit his first homer of the year touching the outfield fence, I guess batting practice paid off! Special mention to Matsun, Brayden and Nealie, always ready in the infield or outfield, great job.  If we could get a hat check at home, someone may have one with Uptigrove on the tag inside.
