Excellent Effort Tonight
The Listowel Squirt girls started the season with a tremendous effort and held the Minto opposition for the majority of the game.
Working out the first game kinks, these girls will surely have a season filled with great fastball and great fun!
Shelby had an excellent arm on the mound tonight and worked very hard to get us out of the tight spots. Great work on third base by Desirae and first base was handled with ease by Hanna. Marlee owned back catch and truly showed a lot of hustle. Justine, Victoria, Lucy & Emma did very well in the short stop and 2nd base areas showing great effort and focus. Lola, Madison, Cassidy & Neely all covered the outfield very well and covered the infield girls to help out when called on.
TRULY GREAT EFFORT GIRLS!
Next practice we'll work on some base running, batting and we'll be working on that bull pen as well.
