Peewee ICBA / OBA, Baseball, 2018 (Listowel Minor Baseball)

The Peewee Legionnaires traveled to Port Dover over the Labour Day weekend to compete in the Ontario Baseball Assoc. Championships.   In their 7th game of the weekend the boys in green pulled off the victory over the Lucan-Ilderton Athletics in an extra innings thriller worthy of the Ontario Championships.   Congratulations Peewee Legionnaires!

The Legionnaires are off to a good start at this weekend's Ontario championships when they defeated the home town Port Dover team 12-2.  Leroux pitched a fantastic game with Wilken only needed to come in and get the final out.  For the offence Bender started off the game on the right foot with a lead off double.  It was a complete team effort in the win. Next action for the Legionnaires is Saturday morning at 10:45.

This weekend the Legionnaires look to divide and conquer as the both head off to their year end tournaments.  Best of luck this weekend boys.

Due to Jacksonville being unplayable, we must cancel tonight's game against Goderich.

Hoping that the weather cooperates, Listowel looks to  wrap up the last of their games before the OBA tournament over Labour Day as the welcome the Seahawks from Goderich.  The Legionnaires will be a couple players down from the regular roster as they will be away with their WOBA team to wrap up their regular schedule. Looking to end the season on a winning note, the Legionnaires will go with Wilken on the hill after his strong pitching performance at the ICBA tournament versus Cambridge. Game is Tuesday Aug 21.  First pitch at 6 PM
