U9T1 Legionnaires go 3 for 3 in busy week!
The young Legionnaires picked up 3 wins in a very busy week of baseball.
Coming off a stinging loss to Saugeen Shores last week the boys hosted Hanover in town Monday and rolled to a 20-3 victory. Tuesday night would see them travel to the lake for a matchup with the Kincardine Cardinals. The bats were hot in this one as Listowel won 31-9 ensuring a winning record for the week. Thursday nights game in Mitchell almost didn't happen with the arrival of ominous skies late afternoon. The boys waited out the storm and picked up another road win by a margin of 15-9. These 3 wins push their league leading record to 11W and 3L.
After a few days off and a weekend practice, the lads are back it next week with a home date vs the Exeter Express on Monday night followed by a trip to Hanover on Tuesday night for a date with the Hurricanes.
