Squirt Girls, 2010 Season (Listowel Minor Baseball)

We had our final league game tonight as the girls played very aggressively, to take the win against Lieury 19-5.  Girls brought out their heavy bats, and brought in run after run!  Way to play ball girls!

This week has shown that the girls are continuing to learn and use the skills they've been taught this year.  Tuesday the girls played Sebringville as they just lost by one run, 10-9.  On Wednesday, the squirts pushed on and defeated Seaforth 12-7.

This week the squirt girls did continue with fire, as they conquered Fullarton Tuesday night, 16-8, with the help of Mallory Kuepfer's GRAND SLAM, and then they continued strong Wednesday night against Mitchell 2, winning 14-6! 

Our Listowel Squirt Girls went undefeated in the tournament this weekend hosted by St. Mary's.  Their defence was strong, their bats were on, and their running was aggressive as the girls pulled together for this two day tournament. 

On July 7th, Squirts lost to St. Marys, with a tight finish of 8-6, and on July 14th, Squirts won against Mitchell 8-4.  Both games were close, but the girls are really starting to show how they can come together as a team.
