Peewee, 2011 Season (Listowel Minor Baseball)

After losing game one to Delaware the peewees were forced to take the long route to the finals. Needing 3 wins in Saturday’s heat proved to be too much as they lost the 3rd game to Amherstburg 8-4.

What started out in May as a minor ball pilot project ended last weekend with an 8-5 victory over the top seeded Guelph Royals giving the Legionaries the ICBA Major Peewee Tier 2 title.

The young Legionaries showed some great resilience over the weekend as they advance to the WOBA finals

The local lads won 2 very tight games versus Hanover 7-6 & 8-7 to advance to the OBA Championships in Belle River on the Labor Day Weekend

The young Legionaries lost a tough one to Kitchener 10-6, then rebounded with 2 convincing victories over Cambridge (18-5) and St Marys (19-0)
